Interviews with Confessing Church figures and resistance members, conducted in Germany for my book For the Soul of the People.

• I conducted extensive interviews with leading figures from the German Church Struggle, including Helmut Gollwitzer, Martin Niemoeller, Wilhelm Niemoeller
• I also conducted interviews with 24 women who were active in the Confessing Church and the German resistance. Most of these women were in the first generation of German women to achieve theological degrees, and my book traces the story of their fight for ordination
• There are also interviews of interest to Bonhoeffer scholars with Emmi Bonhoeffer (the widow of Dietrich Bonhoeffer's brother Klaus, who was also executed), Eberhard Bethge, and several Bonhoeffer students
